Built to take the repetition out of schedule review

Alexandra Kay spent years as a senior Primavera P6 scheduler doing baseline analysis, update comparisons, and delay and time-impact work. Every month brought the same routine: diff two XER files, rebuild the tables and charts in a spreadsheet, and explain what moved. The tools did the data part; the person did the rest.

So she built the tool she wanted: import the XER, see what changed, keep the history. It started as an internal utility for claim and delay review, then spread by word of mouth among schedulers, contractors, project managers, and CEI teams. Feedback from teams working on roadways, bridges, and other complex infrastructure projects has shaped it ever since.

Today, successive updates become one project record with focused reports for schedule health, changes, milestones, paths, resources, costs, and delays.

Alexandra Kay PE, CCM, MBA

A licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Construction Manager with more than fifteen years in construction management and over nine years as a scheduler. She currently serves as a CEI Senior Project Engineer. Her record includes oversight roles at the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, CFX, and Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, across highway and transit programs totaling more than $300 million in construction value.

Schedule Tracker grew out of her own schedule-review work: the tool she wanted, built to the standard she holds for every claim and delay analysis.
